STANDARD DELIVERY POLICY
Next day delivery anywhere in Great Britain and Northern Ireland depending on stock levels and provided orders are received by us before 16:30pm Monday to Friday. (14.45pm  Fridays)  Orders placed after 16:30 will be classed as the next days order. Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday
 

 

DELIVERY CHARGES

Stamps delivered direct will incurr a separate Special Delivery Postage Charge of £8.50
For orders (excluding Stamps) of £50 Ex VAT vat and over in value: Delivery is FREE OF CHARGE


For orders (excluding stamps) under £50 Ex VAT in value: Delivery will cost £8.50. For orders to the Islands and Scottish Highlands, please add £20.00 to our scale of charges.

All Furniture delivered direct will incurr a £18.50 delivery charge regardles of order value.

 

RETURNS


There is a 12 day limit to return Not Required product to your local Office. In the case of requests outside of this limit upto 20 days , agreement must be sought and, if authorised, a minimum of 20% handling charge will apply.


Where a product was ordered but an incorrect product was sent out due to picker error - within 3 Working Days

 

Where a product delivered to the Buyer was not ordered by the Buyer but delivered in error - within 5 Working Days


Where a product has a manufacturing fault or a part is missing or there is some other problem totally attributable to the
manufacturer - within 5 Working Days

 

In the case of direct deliveries, all Not Required returns will attract a 20% handling charge. A minimum not required return value of £25.00 will apply.

 

In the case of Direct deliveries, faulty/damaged product returned which is proven to be "not required", £5.00 charge per item returned to be applied.

 

In the case of Direct deliveries , collection requests where the consumer decides to keep the goods (referred to as an NTC - Nothing To Collect), a charge to be levied equal to the standard next day DDC delivery charge.

 

Food and beverages - Non returnable.

 

Diaries and planners - not required return requests to be made by the 5th December of the year previous to the year to which such dated products relate.

 

Bespoke items and items made to order - Non returnable

 

Furniture - All not required furniture will be subject to a restocking fee and must be returned in its unopened packaging. Furniture not returned in its original state will not be accepted. 

 

In the case of computer consumable products, Not Required returns will only be accepted within 12 days if the outer seal has not been tampered with in any way. If the Buyer returns such product(s) as faulty, it will only be granted a credit note if the manufacturer of such product(s) accepts that the product has not been misused, overloaded, incorrectly installed or incorrectly stored. In certain circumstances, the buyer must complete a faulty product evaluation form.

 

Business machines - Faxes, Printers, Scanners, etc. Please check that the business machine you have chosen is fit for your requirements before you open the box. Business machines cannot be resold if the box has been opened, therefore you cannot return a business machine once it has been opened. BOS will not recommend any business machines, we will offer advice, but the decision to purchase is ultimately the buyers responsibility. Faulty goods in this catagory will be dealt with the by manufacturer direct, please see our latest catalogue for contact numbers and requirements.

 

Faulty or damaged Business machines need to be reported direct to the manufacturer to arrange repair/replacement.

 

Damaged Items - Damaged items must be reported to us within 2 working days of receipt of the delivery.

 

Shortages – Shortages must be reported to us within 48hrs  of receipt of the delivery.

 

Please note any item being returned other than faulty must be returned in the condition that they were received. , i.e. not opened, ripped, or written on. Should such item be returned to ourselves not in a resalable condition the item will be returned to the customer and charged.

 

BACKORDERS
Any item that is out of stock when ordered will be placed on backorder; it will be dispatched to you as soon as it comes into stock. Stock levels are displayed at the time of ordering, if any items state "Please call for details" then it may be out of stock and you should check with your local office before placing any urgent orders.
